The largest ski area in the Val di Fiemme
The largest ski area in the Val di Fiemme offering a wide range of slopes across 5 picturesque valleys. A real cultural experience as you head from the mainly Italian speaking Pampeago area and ski over to the mainly German speaking Obereggen resort – it pays to be tri-lingual in this area.
Our groups have run out of superlatives when trying to describe the beauty of the area, the slopes, the ski school and warmth of the people to us so all we can say is come and see at first-hand the resort that has left pupils and staff speechless.

All-Season Skiing

A large network of mainly red and blue runs are spread across 5 valleys from the town of Predazzo into the hub of Pampeago and then across to Obereggen. A very snow sure area offering most of the skiing above 1700m, the Pampeago area offers great conditions all season long.

Most groups start from the Pampeago area with the main beginners slopes and meeting areas just above the car park (or the Sporthotel Pampeago if you are staying there) on the Latemar lift. A large wide snow bowl is a great starting area for beginners with two chairlifts to ensure a quick return. Progression is easy with numerous gentle blue and red runs winding their way across three valleys towards Obereggen, all linked with fast, comfortable chair lifts. A stop in the middle valley at the top of the Absam Maierl 6 person chairlift offers some of the most up-close and breathtaking views of the Dolomites in the area. Groups will ski on tree lined trails and more open motorway style slopes – all immaculately prepared. This superb preparation aids learning as pupils can trust the slopes under their skis and not worry about hitting rogue patches of ice etc. A better learning environment makes for a more confidence-building experience.

Challenges for Every Level of Skier

Progressing skiers will take on the more challenging slopes of Grappa Mountain, Chairway to Heaven and the Race Track (named by our groups – just ask for the full story.) on the Agnello side of the mountain before taking on the testing long black and red runs heading down from the top of the Passo Feudo chairlift to the Refugio Gardone (where the cable car from Predazzo arrives). For the ultimate challenge the Pala di Santa offers a deceptively easy start into a steep black run that will test the most advanced skiers. Overall every level of skier will find more than enough to challenge and push them during their visit and our ski school will ensure that every pupil reaches the best of their potential and has an unforgettable trip.

Accommodation

Hungry? You’re Spoilt for Choice

Food and the Italians go hand in hand and we use at least 5 different mountain restaurants in the resort. Students and staff get offered plenty of variety, from pizza and pasta to burgers and bratwurst all tastes can be catered for. The only problem might be skiing on a very full stomach after lunch.
