Overlooking the city of Trento at a height of 2,125 meters, the western side of the Paganella mountain faces a number of small villages and towns rich in forests and ski slopes.

The main towns are Andalo and Molveno, however, most of our groups are located in the quiet village of Fai della Paganella where comfortable and traditional hotels are perfectly merged into the traditional mountain town. Large amounts of investment in this area in recent decades has increased its popularity with school groups.

Fai has its own town center with shops, bars, cafes and a new natural ice rink. The main apres ski activities and shopping can be found in Andalo. There is an access point to the ski area from Fai but early in the week most groups prefer to take the short coach ride into Andalo itself.

With skiing above 2000 metres, snow cover is generally reliable in this resort, however, the extensive snow-making coverage grants full skiable slopes from December to the end of season with over 90% of the ski area being covered.

Aptly named “A Paradise For Skiers”, the slopes at the Andalo/Paganella ski resort are of the highest international standard. This modern ski area is best known for its excellent snow records offering numerous interconnecting runs and up-to-the-minute ski lifts with the capacity to carry 27,000 people per hour.

On the north west slope of the Paganella, skiers can enjoy more than 50km of runs, plus routes for alpine and off-piste skiing. Impeccably prepared long, wide slopes lead down through the valley, allowing gentle progression across the area while the tree lined slopes offer superb, safe skiing. In short – Andalo is perfectly suited to school groups.

The ski resort is suitable for all skiing levels and offers easy and intermediate level slopes as well as a black slope for more advanced skiers. Four ski school runs are available for beginners, two of which are on the mountain and the other two are in the village. There are two trails available for cross-country skiing enthusiasts: a 3 km trail located at the sport centre in Andalo (floodlit in the evenings) and a 5 km circuit route through the forest.

From the top of Monte Paganella, at 2125m, there are runs to suit every need, including the challenging Olympic run down to Andalo.
