Located in the heart of the picturesque Italian Dolomites, Val Di Fiemme is enjoying an excellent start to the ski season. Such great snow conditions mean the resort is looking ready to accept our first school ski trips of the year.
Our Resort Manager over in Italy, Gio, reports that conditions are amazing right now; the pictures he kindly sent us can attest to that! According to him, it’s the best start to a season he can remember. Opening day in Val di Fiemme is on Saturday, and because of the great conditions, every slope will be open and available to ski.
For this to be the case so early in the season is fantastic, and great news for those heading over before Christmas. It looks as though they’ll have some great snow for those early season turns.
IBT Travel has been organising school ski trips to Val DI Fiemme for almost 25 years and know the resort inside out. Our intimate knowledge of the area is why it’s been given the accolade of one of our Premier Resorts.
The relationships forged in the last 25 years with hotels, restaurants and locals allow us to deliver the most enjoyable holiday experience for schools. The resort is adored by students and teachers alike, and is understandably one of our most popular destinations.
Year after year we send groups of students out to Italy and each year we’re inundated with positive feedback. This great response is down to our excellent team in the resort, from the ski schools to the hoteliers to the chefs.
Val Di Fiemme offers 160km of slopes in one of the most snow-sure areas of Europe. As well as this, you can expect wonderful Italian hospitality, top class hotels and an excellent Ski School experience from the Scuola Italiana Sci.
Our first group of the season will be heading out to the Italian resort in just a couple of weeks’ time. They can look forward to excellent conditions and a vast area to explore. Off the slopes, the traditional Italian family hospitality and stunning Dolomite vistas will ensure theirs is a trip to remember!
