Spanish host families

The quickest way to improve your students’ Spanish skills (and confidence) is to totally immerse them in Spanish – and staying with carefully-selected host families is the best way to do that.

  • Location: Spanish hosts usually live within 30 minutes of our partner language school (this could be on foot or via public transport).
  • Features: All hosts are very carefully selected by and well known to the Accommodation Officer at our partner language school. All adults within the home will have a clean police record, too. Host families come in all shapes and sizes, with most being older couples or single ladies whose children have left home (which means they now have the time and space to accommodate foreign students).
  • Bedrooms: Your students will be accommodated with at least one other student from your group (so they can travel to and from the school together). En-suite bathrooms are rare, with most accommodation offering one shared family bathroom.

French host families

If you want your students to be totally immersed in the French language and culture, the best way to achieve that is to have them stay with carefully-selected host families. Over the evening meal in particular, they’ll encourage your students to chat to them about their day, as well as the local culture and way of life.

  • Location: Host families usually live within 30 minutes of the language school (on foot or by public transport).
  • Features: Host families may be couples with children, but more often they tend to be older couples or single ladies whose own children have grown up and left home, leaving them the time and the space to accommodate your students. Every adult (18+ years) in the home will have a clean police record and all host families are well known to the dedicated Accommodations Officer at the language school.
  • Bedrooms: Your students will share a room in the host family accommodation with another student (of the same gender) from your group. As you would expect, most accommodation offers a shared family bathroom.

Hotel Bali

Malaga

The Hotel Bali offers a resort-style base for your school trip to Andalusia. Located just a few steps from the beach and Benalmadena’s elegant marina, you’ll enjoy all the Costa del Sol has to offer, while being within easy reach of the region’s main attractions.

  • Location: The hotel is just 250m from the beach and a short stroll from Benalmadena’s lovely Puerto Marina. It’s also right next to La Paloma park, so there are plenty of options for a chilled evening after a busy day of exploring.
  • Features: There are two large pools, both with spacious terraces (as well as a play pool for younger children). The restaurant offers buffet-style meals of both international and typically Spanish cuisine.
  • Bedrooms: Guestrooms are all exterior-facing with balconies, air-conditioning, heating and en-suite bathrooms.

Hotel Wazo

Marrakesh

The Hotel Wazo offers the best of both worlds for your school trip to Marrakesh. Located just to the north of the city, you’ll be within easy reach of all the city’s attractions, but you’ll be able to escape the hustle and bustle after a long day of exploring.
