Super value – perfect for school groups

Andorra is an independent principality situated between France and Spain in the Pyrenees mountains. Known for its great skiing and duty-free shopping, recent investment and modernisation of the resort infrastructure has launched Vallnord to the top of the ‘must try’ school ski destinations.
A good range of accommodation, après ski options plus updated lift system ensures that your ski trip will be a great success with pupils progressing quickly. The wide gentle slopes build confidence quickly and with a hot lunch included on the mountain you get more time on the mountain to explore over the ski area! Away from the slopes groups have easy access to a wide range of après ski activities (mainly in the capital city Andorra la Vella) such as bowling, swimming, a visit to Europe’s largest Spa, ice-skating, pizza night and of course tax-free shopping!

Ski Area

The Pal / Arinsal ski areas offer early skiers the best possible confidence building start on the wide gentle slopes at the top of the La Massana or Arinsal gondolas where magic carpets await the 1st time skiers. In no time the students will have their ski legs and will be heading up to explore the long blue runs radiating from the Pla de la Cot above La Massana or the Pic Negre (2560m) in Arinsal. Spectaular confidence building runs through the trees that the experienced instructors will use to improve technique before trying out the more testing red runs above the tree line from the Pic del Cubil on the La Massana side and the Pic Negre in Arinsal, all runs offering stunning views across the valley.

Flexible yet compact

The resorts are joined by a 50-person cable car so more advance skiers should be able to ski both areas in the same day and explore the more testing black runs from the Pic Alt de la Capa & Pic Negre.

The Arinsal area offers all levels of slope in a more compact area meaning that you will always be able to see how your pupils are developing and making it perfect for younger groups and party leaders who prefer a close supervision environment.
