Amazing views of the Dolomites
Just a short cable car ride from the town of Cavalese and around 10 to 20 minutes from the majority of our hotels in the Val di Fiemme, Cermis offers high, snow-sure, testing skiing and amazing views of the Dolomites and surrounding area. Many groups use the cable car to spend some time in the medieval town before heading back to their hotel.

Snow Guaranteed

Two large snow sure bowls and a long chute run to the valley make up the Cermis area. Cermis has the best snow record in the valley and you are always guaranteed the best conditions and piste preparation here. The first bowl above the Eurotel and gondola top station offers beginners a large wide play area to finish the week before heading down the 4.5km Via del Bosco to the mid-station. Progressing skiers head over into the ‘back bowl’ served by the Prafiori chairlift to explore the long red runs and many off-piste options with their instructor. Those up for the challenge of the Olympia runs may start off with a few runs on the Costabella and Carlo Donei slopes and when ready they can have a go at the first section before the more challenging Olympia 2 (which offers stunning views across the valley) and then the more relaxed red slope of Olympia 3.

Food for Every Taste

For lunch the Rifugio Paion at 2250m is the preferred option. You can enjoy a wide range of fantastic freshly cooked Italian food or go for one of the ever popular burgers or bratwurst from the BBQ on the sun terrace. Lunch in the mountains – a truly magical experience in the Val di Fiemme.

Take on the Olympia

Slightly smaller than the other ski areas in the Val di Fiemme we visit the Cermis area towards the end of your ski tour. By that time the groups will be ready to face the monster Olympia run – all 3 parts and 7.2km of it.
